 ‘Starting the Enfield Scorpions as part of the Olympic legacy was a proud moment in my life as it was my home at the time. The local kids now had a place to play the sport they love on consistent basis close to them and not having to travel into other areas of London which could potentially put them at risk, just because of their home post code. Then to see the club grow from Hannah’s dedication into what it is today it to now have the expertise of 24hr solutions to take it to the next level, makes me extremely proud and super excited for the future.’ 

 ‘When Perry started Enfield Scorpions, I was excited for the local youth as they now had somewhere to go and express themselves in a positive way in an positive environment. As a kid growing up in the borough of Enfield I had to go down to Hackney to receive this basketball experience which made me the man I am today.’ 

'As a kid growing up in London, North London basketball has always been dominated by Haringey teams its great to see that Enfield is now fully on the map paving the way for those that love the sport and creating the next generation of potential stars in the game.’ 

'Enfield Scorpions was where my love for basketball began. Thought me so many lessons both on and off the court. 

It was during my first season with Enfield Scorpions that I got selected for the England under 15s team, where I won the MVP tournament, changing me as a person. After a year of playing, I was selected for Great Britain U16s team and the journey has continued ever since'.
